Oldest Continuous Festival Underway In Odon

(ODON) - The oldest continuous festival in Indiana is in full swing in Odon in Northern Daviess County. The Odon Old Settler’s Days has been going on for 132 years.
Tonight's events features the midway opening, the 2017 Little Miss and Mister contest and entertainment from Terry Lee and The Rockaboogie Band.
Friday, August 4, 2017
- 1 p.m. -- 50-Year Club meets -- Tim Maryfield, Sponsor
- 1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. -- Floral Hall Open
- 2 p.m. -- Bingo (sponsored by Ketcham Memorial Center)
- 6 p.m. -- The RIDES begin
- 7 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. -- Floral Hall Open
- 7 p.m. -- 2017 Little Miss and Little Mister Contest (judged event) sponsored by Graber Post and The Odon Journal. Children must be at least 3 years old and not more than 6 years old by August 3, 2017. Contestants will be judged on appearance, personality, and a show-n-tell presentation. Registration will be open from June 2017 until July 28, 2017. Sign up applications are available at The Odon Journal office - phone (812) 636-7350.
- 8 p.m. -- Entertainment Terry Lee and The Rockaboogie Band

- 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. -- Pick up exhibits at the Floral Hall
- 1 p.m. -- FREE Kids games sponsored by the Odon Lions Club
- 2 p.m. -- "Cruise-In" and car show
- 5:30 p.m. -- Baby Show registration
- 6 p.m. -- The RIDES begin (bracelet purchasers entered into drawing for a bike)
- 6:30 p.m. -- Baby Show
- 8 p.m. -- Entertainment KIRBY STAILEY AND BAND
- 10 p.m. -- All drawings
