(DAVIESS CO.) - Indiana State Police arrested two Pontiac, Michigan men in Daviess County on drug charges on Saturday.
Troopers arrested 42-year-old Keyon Jackson and 40-year-old Jerome Middlebrooks on charges of for dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Both are being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
The trooper stopped the vehicle Middlebrook was driving along Interstate 69 in Daviess County for speeding.
While the trooper was speaking with Middlebrooks, he could smell marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
When asked about the possibility of drugs in the vehicle, Middlebrooks's front seat passenger, Jackson, also of produced a small plastic bag of marijuana from under his seat.
During a search of the vehicle, police found more than a pound of cocaine.
