(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man suffered minor injuries after he crashed his Jeep on Leatherwood Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 27-year-old Jonathon Jarvis suffered cuts to his hands and complained of leg pain. He refused medical attention at the scene.
The crash happened at 1:26 a.m. on Leatherwood Road, west of Brown Station Road.
According to police, Jarvis was traveling west on Leatherwood Road in his 1998 Jeep Cherokee when he lost control of the vehicle in a slight curve, struck an embankment and overturned.
Jarvis told police he didn't remember anything about the crash and didn't remember climbing out the vehicle. He told police he may have fallen asleep, because he works two full-time jobs at a total of 16 hours a day, which includes commutes to and from Columbus.
Police say there were no indication Jarvis applied the brakes before leaving the road.
