(BEDFORD) - A 15-year-old boy was arrested after police discovered he attempted to break into a service station on Mitchell Road early Friday morning.
Bedford Police officers were called to Hoosier Pete's after they were notified by the alarm company that the alarm had been triggered.
When police arrived they found damage to the back door of the building.
"After reviewing surveillance video, officers were able to determine who attempted to break into the building," says Bedford Chief Dennis Parsley. "They then went to the teen's home and arrested him."
The teen, who is facing charges of burglary and criminal mischief, is being held at the Jackson County Detention Center.
