(MITCHELL) - A Bloomington woman suffered multiple injuries after she was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday on State Road 37 and State Road 60 East Saturday afternoon.
According to a Mitchell Police report, 31-year-old Anastasia Patton was flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
30-year-old Gavin Hemmerlein of Springville was traveling north on State Road 37 in a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country and had the green light at the intersection of State Road 37 and 60 East. Police say Patton, who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, had a yellow light and disregarded the signal and turned east onto State Road 60 East into the path of Hemmerlein's vehicle.
Hemmerlein and his front-seat passenger Holly Hemmerlein and a back seat passenger Charlee Hemmerlein complained of pain and were taken to IU Health Bloomington for treatment.
