(MITCHELL) - Today at the 71st Annual Persimmon Festival the American Red Cross Blood Drive will start at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christ on main St. until 6 p.m.
A Ham and Beans dinner will be served starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Seventh Street Food Tent sponsored by the Mitchell Church of God.
The Linda Smith Band will be playing at the Main St. Stage starting at 6 p.m. The group is known for an energizing, fun, diversity and interacting performance.
Then The Vallures, a sixties group that performs soul and Motown music, will take the stage at 8 p.m.
