(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured in an accident on Old State Road 37 near Washboard Road early Sunday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 20-year-old Landon Stillions, of Bedford, was traveling south on Old State Road 37, near Washboard Road in a 2007 Ford F-150 when a deer entered the roadway in front of his vehicle.
Stillions swerved to avoid the deer causing the truck to go off the east side of the roadway. The truck traveled down an embankment and struck a fence.
The vehicle continued through the fence and flipped over on it stop.
Stillions suffered minor bleeding to his elbow and lower arm. His front seat passenger, 22-year-old Jarrod Cornelius, of Loogootee, suffered bruising and abrasion on his right had. His backseat passenger, 35-year-old Mariah Logston, of Heltonville, suffered a fracture to her upper right arm.
All three were taken by ambulances to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
Stillions did submit to a alcohol blood test at the hospital and those results are pending.
