(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested on an auto theft charge after Lawrence County police recovered a stolen 2010 Ford F150 on South Teddy Bird Lane.
Police arrested 29-year-old Lana Fraizer of Bedford at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday after dispatchers received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of Bud Ikerd Road.
According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, when officers went to the location they learned that Fraizer is the girlfriend of the victim's grandson and took the vehicle.
Officers then went to the 100 block of South Teddy Bird Lane where they located the stolen pickup truck. Officers leaned that Frazier had driven the pickup to that location earlier in the day.
Officers then located Frazier to arrest her and the vehicle was returned to the owner.
