(WASHINGTON) - A Washington boy suffered a neck injury after police say he drove his 4-wheeler into the path of a van on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say Gail Pruitt of Washington was driving home from work around 1:30 p.m. when a young boy drove his 4-wheeler into her van at the intersection of North East. 15th and North streets.
The wreck caused two windows to be knocked out on the drivers side and damage to the drivers door and back door of the van as well.
The boy was rushed to Daviess Community Hospital and then flown by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
