(BEDFORD) - Fall property taxes are due November 13th.
Residents are alerted that the Lawrence County Courthouse will be closed on November 10th for Veteran's day.
Urrgent tax information may be found online at https://lawrencein.elevatemaps.io. Credit card payments must be made online at https://lawrencecounty.egovpayments.com/.
Those paying taxes at the courthouse are reminded to enter the courthouse through the North doors and pass through a security screening.
The Treasurer's office will be closed to the public following the November 13th deadline to complete on time mail posting. It will re-open Monday, November 20th.
Questions regarding your assessment should be directed to the Assessor's Office at (812) 275-5405; regarding your tax rate, exemptions or deductions to the Auditor's Office at (812) 275-3111 or regarding your tax payment to the Treasurer's Office at (812) 275-2431.
