(ORLEANS) - Orleans Fall Town Wide Clean Up is underway this week to aid residents in getting properties cleaned up for the fall and upcoming winter months.
All Orleans residents and business owners are urged to do to their part to help clean up, fix up, pick up, paint up, and spruce up our hometown for fall.
A large dumpster will be set up at the town garage area on Franklin Street for Orleans town resident use only. Hours for the dumpster will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 7th from 7 a.m. to 12 Noon.
Some restrictions will apply to items placed in or around the dumpster. Those include no hazardous material, paint, batteries, tires, refrigerators, air conditioners or freezers.
Town crews are also picking up heavy items of discard etc., this one week only and those having those type items are encouraged to call the Orleans Town offices to arrange for pick up 812-865-2359. Items for pick up should be placed at curbside for pick up.
