(BEDFORD) - The 25th annual LIFE Fantasia is Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County, and organizers are inviting the public to come and bid on their favorite trees, wreaths, centerpieces and specialty items created by local creators.
Doors open at 9 a.m., with the auction beginning at noon.
LIFE has received nearly 80 entries and will continue accepting items until the event kicks off on Saturday morning.
More than $37,300 was raised last year - a record amount for the food pantry. The top-selling was a travel-themed tree donated by Williams Realtors. It sold for $2,050.
LIFE which operates a food pantry in both Bedford and Mitchell. So far this year, LIFE has has provided food to more than 1,800 families and the numbers keep increasing. Each month the pantry distributes about 11,000 item a month.
