(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police believe a medical emergency lead to a fatal accident on West Second Street and Patterson Drive.
Police were called to the scene at 2:18 p.m. after a report of an accident. It was unclear what caused the accident and death.
When police arrived they found 84-year-old Gary Lybrook of Bloomington had died in the driver's seat of his vehicle.
Police say Lybrook's vehicle drove off the road and ended up in the Perfection Auto Glass parking lot. Police learned Lybrook was on his way to the emergency room when the accident occurred.
An autopsy is scheduled for 8 a.m. today in Terre Haute.
