(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Christmas Parade entry deadline is Monday - It’s free to enter.
Bedford's Christmas Parade is one of Southern Indiana's largest illuminated Christmas parades typically averaging 100 parade units.
The parade will be held on Saturday, December 2nd with the Grand Marshal and Downtown Lighting Ceremony taking place at 5:30 p.m. on the courthouse lawn facing J Street.
The parade steps off at 6 p.m.
This year's theme is "Jingle Bell Rock" with Grand Marshals, Dean and Barbara Spencer.
The Bedford Revitalization Inc Parade Committee will continue to accept parade applications beyond the November 20th deadline, however they will begin finalizing the line up shortly after the deadline.
Applications can be completed online at http://www.downtownbedford.org/ or paper copies can be picked up from Bedford City Hall or the Lawrence County Tourism office, in Mitchell.
