Lawrence County Police Growing Beards For Bertha's Mission

(BEDFORD) - There’s a bit of a hairy situation going on at the Lawrence County Police Department.

Sheriff Mike Branham is relaxing the department's facial hair policies to support Bertha's Mission.

For a $10 donation, officers can grow a beard or goatee during the month of November.

It was an easy decision for officers to make the $10 donation, which will be offset by the cost of razors for the month of November.
