(BLOOMINGTON) - Throughout the month of November, Bloomington residents and guests will have the opportunity to interact with City of Bloomington department leaders at the weekly “Mayor at the Market” series on Saturdays during the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market.
The "Mayor at the Market" series is designed to offer the public an opportunity to meet and interact with various department heads, address concerns, share ideas, and learn more about current and upcoming projects.
On November 4, Housing and Neighborhood Development Director Doris Sims will be available from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. to speak about affordable housing, historic preservation, and neighborhood services.
On November 11, join Planning and Transportation Director Terri Porter from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. to discuss long-term development plans, transportation infrastructure, and current development projects.
On November 18, for the last outdoor Saturday market of the year, Information and Technology Services Director Rick Dietz will be available from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. to discuss the City's latest security upgrades, how to effectively utilize and navigate the City's website, and more.
"Mayor at the Market" events take place in front of City Hall, located 401 N. Morton St. In case of inclement weather, the events will take place just inside the City Hall atrium.
