(BLOOMINGTON) - An anonymous tip lead Indiana State troopers to arrest a Bloomington woman on felony drug charges.
On Friday, just before 10:30 a.m., the Indiana State Police Bloomington District received an anonymous tip about possible heroin use at a home Old Richardson Road.
Troopers went to the home and spoke with 23-year-old Danielle Morris, during that conversation troopers observed a loaded hypodermic syringe sticking out of her pocket.
After obtaining consent to search the home, troopers found approximately 7 grams of heroin, hypodermic syringes, and drug paraphernalia.
Morris was arrested and incarcerated at the Monroe County Jail on felony charges of possession of heroin, unlawful possession of a syringe, maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigating troopers included S/Trp. Chris Griggs, S/Trp. Allen Deel, Trp. Julie Deel, and Probationary Trooper Matt Hatchett.
