(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police Chief Mike Diekhoff recently announced the following promotions:
Sergeant Ryan Pedigo to the rank of Lieutenant. Pedigo is a ten year veteran of the Bloomington Police Department and most recently served as the Administrative Sergeant. He will assume command of first shift patrol.
Detective Joshua Taylor to the rank of Sergeant. Taylor is a nine year veteran of the Bloomington Police Department and most recently served as a detective in the Special Investigations Unit. He will be assigned as a squad sergeant on third shift patrol.
Senior Police Officer Benjamin Burns to the rank of Sergeant. Burns is a nine year veteran of the Bloomington Police Department and most recently served as a patrol officer on third shift. He will be assigned as a squad sergeant on second shift patrol.
The Bloomington Board of Public Safety met and approved all promotions at their meeting on December 19th. All promotions will be effective January 1, 2018.
