(TUNNELTON) - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon on Tunnelton Road near Buddha Bypass Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 30-year-old Alicia Wray of Tunnelton was traveling west on Tunnelton Road. At the same time, 45-year-old Chad Mills of Bedford was traveling southeast on Tunnelton Road.
Police say that Wray was traveling too fast for the wet road conditions caused by a recent rain shower.
According to police, Wray attempted to slow down and brake for the curve but her 1996 Ford Escort began to slide, going left of center, crashing into Mills' 2014 Ford F-150.
Wray complained of knee and lower foot pain following the collision.
A 2-year-old male suffered minor bleeding to his head, a 8-year-old male complained of back pain and a 13-year-old female complained of knee, lower leg and foot pain.
Mills was not injured during the incident.
Police say no one in Wray's vehicle were wearing seat belts or were properly restrained in a child safety seat. She was cited for seat belt violations on each of her children and herself, and for not having the toddler properly fastened and restrained in a safety seat.
