Mitchell Man Arrested After Pushing Wife

(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he allegedly he pushed his wife and choked her.

Mitchell police arrested 52-year-old Brian Johnson on charges of domestic battery, interfering with a 911 call and strangulation.

Police were called to the 400 block of Eighth Street after a 911 call. Dispatchers could hear a woman screaming and then the line went dead.

When officers arrived at the home they found Johnson's wife crying. She told police her husband pushed her three times and then choked her.
