(ORLEANS) - Orleans Jr. Sr. High School will be hosting the eleventh annual Pep Band Invitational on Saturday, January 6th.
The band booster organization coordinates the event which features about 16 Indiana schools for a day of spirited, musical competition.
The event is open to the public and general admission tickets are $5 and available at the door, preschool and younger are free. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with the competition beginning at 10 a.m.
Some participating schools include: Paoli, Perry Central, Austin, Shoals, Crawford County, Borden, South Central, Tecumseh, West Washington, Jennings County, and exhibition performance by Indiana University Southeast.
The event reflects the Orleans hometown ball game atmosphere with outstanding band performances, mascots, cheerleaders, and student cheering.
Concessions are available.
Orleans Jr. Sr. High School is located near the corner of West Wilson Street and Highway 37 in Orleans.
