(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident on 16th Street on Tuesday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 66-year-old Randy Quachkenbush of Bedford was traveling west on 16th Street in the left turn lane to turn south into the IU Health Hospital parking lot.
At the same time, 19-year-old Baili Peterson of Bedford was approaching IU Health Hospital on 16th Street in the right lane.
Police say Quachkenbush pulled his 2002 Chevrolet Tracker TRA into the path of Peterson's 2009 Dodge Caliber, causing Peterson's car to strike the passenger side of Quachkenbush's vehicle.
The accident threw Quachkenbush's vehicle into the driver's side of a 2015 Cadillac driven by 64-year-old Nancy Ranstead of Bedford. Ranstead was pulling out of the IU Health Hospital parking lot.
Ranstead was not injured during the incident. Quachkenbush and Baili both complained of knee and foot pain. Baili's passenger, 20-year-old Ashley Robbins of Columbus, complained of neck pain.
