(SALEM) - Two men were injured in a two-vehicle accident on State Road 60 West at Cave Spring Road on Monday night.
According to a Washington County Police report, 88-year-old Lannie Zink of Campbellsburg was traveling east on State Road 60 and was stopped to turn onto Cave Spring Road when his 2000 Ford van was rear-ended by a 2005 Chevrolet truck driven by 25-year-old Spencer Gilstrap of Pekin.
Zink had to be freed from the wreckage by members of the Salem Fire Department and was flown to University of Louisville hospital for treatment.
Gilstrap refused treatment at the scene, but was later treated at St. Vincent hospital for minor injuries.
