(BEDFORD) - Two people suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident Sunday night on Washboard Road, east of Burkwood Hills Lane.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 71-year-old Wayne Folk of Springville was traveling west on Washboard Road and was traveling up a hill when his 2003 Ford Ranger slid on the snow-covered road. The truck went off the west side of the road and struck a tree.
After striking the tree, Folk told police he wanted to get the vehicle out of the way of other traffic and he drove it west to the intersection of Springville-Judah Road and Gas Line Road.
