(SEYMOUR) - Legal Aid will provide a Free Legal Aid Clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.
The free clinics are offered to low-income residents. The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Program utilizes local attorneys that volunteer to offer free legal consultations and advice. Individuals coming to the clinic can expect a 10-minute consultation to answer general questions, offer legal information or receive limited pro se assistance or advice.
The clinic will be in person and be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Preregistration is not required.
Legal Aid is a nonprofit agency providing free civil legal services, layer referrals and domestic violence-related legal representation to low-income individuals in Pro Bono District I. Legal Aid serves Jackson, Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jennings, Johnson, Rush and Shelby counties.
