(SEYMOUR) - Applications for Section 8 Rent Assistance will be accepted beginning Wednesday at Seymour City Hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St.
Applicants must apply in person and must enter through the side entrance on the north side of the building.
Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Income is not required to apply for assistance; however, if applicants have a source of income such as Social Security or child support, they must provide written third-party verification of income.
Applications will be added to the waiting list according to individual information listed on the application. Date and time will be considered; however, the first application taken may not be the first name added to the waiting list.
