(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Cattlemen’s Board of Directors invites you to the 2018 Annual meeting on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Bender Lumber Banquet Hall starting at 6 p.m.
Dinner and entertainment will be provided.
The cost for the meeting/dinner is $15 per person and anyone is welcome to attend. RSVP through the Lawrence County Extension Office by calling (812) 275-4623 or email dlmeadow@purdue.edu
The entertainment will be provided by Rik Roberts, a comedian from Nashville, TN. He is happily married and the father of two children. Rik spent his youth in Kentucky working on tobacco and horse farms. His interest in becoming the next Tom Brokaw, or perhaps host of Saturday Nigh Live, inspired him to pursue a college education, earning a degree in communications from Bethany College. He has more than 20 years of experience headlining across the US and abroad. His comedy is 100 percent clean and appropriate for any audience. Rik spends his time off-stage writing comedy songs many of which are aired daily on SiriusXM radio's Laugh USA and Blue Collar Radio channels.
If you are a cattle producer who is not a member of the Lawrence County Cattlemen's Association come to the annual meeting and learn more about the organization.
About the Lawrence County Cattlemen's Association
The purpose of the association is to promote profitable production of quality beef; sponsor educational projects and demonstrates for the cattlemen of Lawrence County; promote cooperative marketing of Lawrence County cattle and develop leadership and unity of purpose among the cattlemen of Lawrence County.
Anyone interested in the production of beef cattle is eligible for membership. Annual dues are $10.
