(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police say they have made a third arrest in connection with an armed robbery that took place January 3rd outside Griffith Elementary School.
19-year-old Laking Clay turned himself into police Sunday. He is facing charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and Conspiracy to commit armed robbery resulting in bodily injury. He is being held in the Daviess County Security Center on $250,000 cash bond.
A second suspect, 19-year-old David Redmond of Washington, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery with bodily injury.
A juvenile was apprehended shortly after the robbery occurred.
Police say two individuals reported they had been assaulted and that $250 and a cellphone were taken.
