(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are looking for Ulysses Lewis, who is wanted on a warrant for attempted murder after he shot a man in the shoulder and neck at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of South Walnut Street Pike, Saturday.
Police say Lewis is believed to be a transient and staying in the Bloomington area. He also has ties to Solsberry and Putnam County.
On Saturday, at 3:15 p.m., Bloomington police and paramedics were called to 3100 South Walnut Street Pike to building A after a report of a shooting and a man bleeding.
The 37-year-old male victim was conscious, but bleeding from gunshot wounds. He was transported by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington and then lifelined to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Bloomington police are asking anyone with information on Lewis' location to contact the Bloomington Police Department or call 911.
