(ODON) - Appraisers hired by the town of Odon have completed their valuation of a piece of property the town may be interested in purchasing.
The Odon Journal reports that McActee Appraisal service of Loogootee valued the Odon garage real estate at $38,000 while Jeffrey Palmer Appraisal Service put the price at $46,000.

Board members Chuck Krieg and Vernon Graber discussed the appraisals at a recent meeting and Krieg suggested a possible offer of $40,000 for the property which is located close to the town hall.
Supervisor Josh Chesney told the board the building needed some lighting work but agreed the property would be a good buy for the city.
No final action on the proposal was taken at the meeting.
