(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested on a domestic battery charge in the presence of a minor Sunday night.
Lawrence County Police were called to a home in the 420 block of Summer Lake Drive Sunday at 9:50 p.m. after a woman called to report a male had threw a DVD at her face.
Police arrested 40-year-old Bradley Clapper, of 426 Summer Lake Dr., without incident on a charge of domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
Lawrence County Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults says, officers determined Clapper and the female were arguing over their relationship when Clapper allegedly picked up a stack of DVD's and threw them at the woman.
"The woman suffered a laceration to her nose," Chief Deputy Shoults says. "The victims children were present in the home at the time the battery occurred."
