(CRANE) - Crane Army employees disassemble 76 mm white phosphorus cartridge cases and projectiles.
Non-explosive metal components are shipped to a local recycling company while the dangerous white phosphorus material is converted to the much safer phosphoric acid.
CAAA engineers are vital to demilitarization- they design machinery and tools and maximize operational efficiency, helping Crane Army better support the Warfighter.
