Fire Damages Washington Apartment Building

(WASHINGTON) - Washington firefighters were called to an apartment fire at 401 East Main at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Washington Fire Chief Dave Rhoads says the fire was put out quick and there were no injuries.

Chief Rhoads says the fire was ruled accidental caused by an unknown heat source.

There was minor damage to the front of the building owned by Mark Hoevel.

Firemen were on scene for less than an hour.
