(PEKIN) - Five people were arrested Thursday after police went to a home to serve arrest warrants in Pekin.
At 9:30 p.m. Washington County Sheriff's Deputies and Pekin Town Marshal Jeff Thomas went to a home at 522 Charles Street to serve arrest warrants on 55-year-old Tony Boes and 32-year-old Amy Boes.
When police officers arrived at the front door, Amy Boes ran from the back of the house and was arrested after a short foot pursuit.
Police found Tony Boes hiding in the bathroom with drug items in plain view.
That gave police probable cause to seek a search warrant for the home.
