(SHOALS) - On Saturday, police arrested 55-year-old Kelly Johnson, of French Lick on charges of dealing meth, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
During the early evening hours of Saturday, Martin County Deputy Shinn and Shoals Town Marshal Todd Eckert conducted a controlled narcotics buy at a gas station in Shoals.
After the deal was completed, Deputy Shinn made a traffic stop on the Johnson's vehicle.
When the deputy approached the vehicle, the narcotics were in plain sight.
Police arrested Johnson without incident.
During the arrest officers seized more than 8 grams of meth.
