(UNDATED) - Police are investigating threats made at both Mitchell and Orleans school systems.
Orleans Police Chief Richard Dixon says an arrest was made in one of two separate incidents that occurred in Orleans over the weekend.
The threats were made over social media.
The juvenile was detained on a charge of intimidation.
Mitchell Police Chief Mike Johnson says they were notified by the threat by Superintendent Steve Phillips. Police determined there was no threat.
In each instance, parents received text alerts notifying about the threats and police investigations.
There was a strong police present at both schools this morning, including Indiana State Police troopers.
