Registration Now Open For Dogwood Century Bicycle Tour

(ORLEANS) - The Dogwood Century has proven to be the most challenging century bicycle tour in Indiana.

The ride on April 21, starts in downtown Orleans, at the gazebo on the historic square and takes cyclists through the best back roads Southern Indiana/

If you are not ready for the full 100 mile tour, other options include the 25, 50, or 75 mile routes.

This ride is not for the faint of heart.

Challenging hills include the likes of "Mt. Aire" and "Dead Horse Hill" plus many more surprises along the way including the Guthrie Mansion in Lawrence County's Tunnelton and the Gus Grissom Memorial in Spring Mill State Park just to name a few.

Orange County sights include the beautiful West Baden Dome and Pete Dye Gulf Course area and French Lick Resort and Casino.

Included in registration is a delicious post-ride meal for every rider and world class S.A.G. support, meaning many food and drink stops along the way.

Plus if you need help or picked up help is only a phone call away and there will be many committee members driving the route.

Participants doing the full Century have the option of having lunch midway or at the end of the race.

This ride is being held in conjunction with the upcoming 50th Annual Orleans Dogwood Festival on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Pre-register online and then sign in from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. at the gazebo the day of ride.

Century riders need to be on the course by 8 a.m.

Those that pre-register we receive a wick-away shirt with a special design.
