(SHOALS) - Three workers were injured when a truss fell at a construction site in Shoals.
Martin County Chief Deputy Josh Greene says at about 9:50 a.m. Monday, emergency crews were called to Bailey Brothers Used Cars in Shoals after a report of a fallen truss injuring workers.
A work crew was working on the construction of a new building. The former building had been consumed in a fire last year.
Chief Deputy Greene says for an unknown reason, a truss fell while three workers were on it.
One of the men was flown from the scene by medical helicopter, another was transported to Daviess County and then flown out. A third went to a hospital by private vehicle.
The names of the injured men were not released.
