(BLOOMINGTON) - For the first time the innovative TED Talk inspired speaker series outside of Indianapolis, Walk the Talk: Creating Happiness will bring the multi-faceted event to Bloomington, and will showcase speakers discussing and sharing their personal approaches to creating happiness in this world.
The event will also feature live music, confetti, a light show and more, making it an over-the-top show unlike any other speaker series! Walk the Talk: Creating Happiness will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.) at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington, Ind. (114 Kirkwood Avenue).
Tickets are on sale now (free for kids 11 and under, $15 for non-students and $11 for students, plus applicable fees) at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater Box Office and bctboxoffice.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the event.
The speakers of Walk the Talk: Creating Happiness will include:
- Christine Eartheart Founder of Joy Potential and teacher, retreat facilitator, and coach, is passionate about living in the land of possibilities and helping people cultivate true and lasting joy from within. Christine is also CEO of the Center for Thriving Relationships and loves helping couples and communities develop flourishing relationships that bring out our best. Christine also facilitates and teaches emotional healing and Reiki energy healing as the Founder of Heart Spirals. Out of her love for celebrating the gifts in everyone, she started the Buffalo Sisters Gift Circle, a monthly gathering hundreds of women have participated in since 2009.
- Andrea Stumpf is a writer, storyteller and creator of Cards4Humanity. She's traveled from Israel to India studying yoga and other spiritual practices, spending 40 days in silence in the volcanic foothills of Guatemala and learning Mystical Dance in Thailand. - Lindsey Vertner As a personal development coach, Lindsey utilizes her "no excuses" coaching methods and unique perspective from a "fatal" car wreck to push her clients to success. As the co-founder of The Unleashed Woman, Lindsey helps to support and uplift women through empowerment events and networking opportunities. Lindsey is a captivating, motivational speaker. She doesn't just motivate and inspire her audience through her words, but she challenges and encourages them to lean on her and take action in that very moment. With a master's in Professional Counseling, Lindsey is a graduate of both Indiana University and Liberty University.
- Amie Crites Teaching and leading from her heart Amie Crites specializes in the art of splatter through the process of hula-hoop dance and movement. She has been teaching children and adults alike the joy of flowing with love and spinning with paint using one of a kind hula-hoops she makes since 2014. An advocate for health and wellness she loves connecting with the community through different mediums and loves inspiring others to express themselves through movement, music, and art. - Jai Maa is a non-denominational minister, workshop facilitator, and author of Break Through Your Threshold: A Manual for Faith-Based Manifestation and Co-Creating with God. She has lived and traveled the continental U.S. in her RV for the past five years with her cats, teaching others how to co-create their heart's desire with the Divine. - Angel McAllister is an Indianapolis native. You can call me Angel Samone. The BIG 3 that guides my life are God, Family and Purpose.
