(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he crashed his pickup truck into several vehicles and mailboxes on Fifth Street on Wednesday night.
Bedford Police arrested 43-year-old Victor Murray of Bedford on charges of operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent or greater, OWI endangerment and OWI.
According to Bedford Police Capt. Jeremy Bridges, Murray was traveling west on Fifth Street around 8:37 p.m. in his 2008 Ford F-350 when he struck a silver 1999 Volkswagen Beetle owned by Robert Arellano.
Murray then continued traveling west and struck a second vehicle owned by Arellano, a green 1993 Chevrolet pickup, and pushed the vehicle approximately 250 feet from the point of impact.
The Chevrolet pickup had lumber in the bed and other articles which were thrown into a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu, owned by John Callender, damaging the Malibu.
Murray's truck then pushed the Malibu approximately 253 feet from the point of impact striking four mailboxes.
Murray complained of head pain and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment and a blood alcohol test. He was released and transported to jail.
