(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Superior Court II Judge William Sleva sentenced Michael Williams to 12 years with the Indiana Department of Correction with five years suspended for child molestation.
Williams, 38, 1514 Sixth St., pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to child molesting, a Level 4 felony, and sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 4 felony in a negotiated plea agreement.
Williams was arrested in October 2017, after police say he molested a then 15-year-old girl multiple times between August 2014 and May 2017. The teen told police, Williams would touch her under her clothes and come into her room at night and had performed sexual acts on her, including intercourse. II.
