(BLOOMINGTON) - BTaccess will implement an expanded weekend service area starting Saturday, March 3, 2018.
BTaccess is a public transportation service for people with disabilities who cannot use regular fixed-route service due to their disability.
Saturday BTaccess service now will be available within the entire city of Bloomington from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. during IU semesters. During IU break periods such as spring, summer, Thanksgiving, and winter breaks, Saturday service will end at 7:30 p.m.
In addition, Sunday BTaccess service will be available within the entire city of Bloomington from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. during IU semesters. During IU break periods, Sunday service will end at 7:30 p.m.
Previously, BTaccess operations on Saturday evenings and Sundays were limited to areas within a 3/4 mile radius of fixed routes 6 and 9.
BTaccess is a public transportation service for people with disabilities who cannot use regular fixed-route service due to their disability.
