(PAOLI) - Hoosier Uplands has awarded $20,000 to the Paoli High School Agriculture Department for its’ building fund to construct a new Animal Science Pavillon, according to David Miller, Hoosier Uplands Chief Executive Officer.
"We were very impressed by the enthusiasm of the FFA students in Paoli and the Farm to Table curriculum," Miller added. "We are happy to support this project with our Community Development & Improvement Program."
In keeping with the theme to support local agriculture education and local farmers, Hoosier Uplands has also awarded the Town of Paoli, $14,000 in CDIP funds for its' creation of a Farmer's Market in Paoli.
"That will also service to bring people into Paoli and support local farmers, restaurants and other businesses," Miller added.
