(HELTONVILLE) - The Lawrence County Police Department say the suspect they were looking for is now in custody.
Earlier - Lawrence County Police are currently investigating a shooting in Heltonville.
Police are asking all residents secure themselves inside their homes and keep an eye out for any suspicious subject in the Heltonville area.
The suspect is at large and considered armed and dangerous.
The only description available at this time is a white male wearing jeans and a black fleece type jacket.
