(BEDFORD) - Mason Spires took home the crown as Mr. BNL Friday night. Spires, representing the wrestling team, was also the recipient of the Costume Award for dressing up like Jack Black’s “Nacho Libre.”
The 14th annual event was held at the Bedford North Lawrence High School's Performing Arts Center utilizing a Western theme this year.
The Times Mail reports, Spires bested 20 participants in his quest for the crown in the all male beauty contest. Keaton Godsey was second runner-up and Corbin Bushey was first runner-up. Bushey also claimed the Talent Award for singing and playing acoustic guitar on the song "You've Got a Friend in Me" by Randy Newman from "Toy Story."
