(BLOOMINGTON) - Middle Way House invites community members to their annual spring luncheon in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month on Thursday, April 5th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The Honorable Valeri Haughton, Monroe Circuit Court Judge, will give a talk entitled, "#MeToo...Fighting Back, Moving Forward: My Journey."
The luncheon is being hosted and catered by the women of Alpha Chi Omega at 1000 North Jordan Avenue. Doors open at 11 a.m. with appetizers. Lunch, which includes dessert, will be served promptly at noon.
All proceeds benefit Middle Way House, a domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center which provides a wide range of services to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking in six counties throughout southern Indiana.
