(GRAYSVILLE) - The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in locating an antique tractor stolen sometime Thursday or Friday near Graysville.
The 1940's Allis-Chalmers tricycle frontend tractor is not in running condition, but does have historic value and may be sought by a collector of antique farm equipment.
Also stolen was an 80 bushel grain cart.
The tractor is orange, with some rust, and the tires are in poor condition.
Business owners and residents in Sullivan and southern Vigo Counties and Crawford County, Illinois are asked to review their security video for the past couple of nights.
Investigators say the thieves had to use a trailer to haul away the equipment and they believe the vehicle the thieves were driving and the trailer were captured on someone's security video.
