(BLOOMINGTON) - Public comment on the potential purchase of a replacement armored vehicle for the Bloomington Police Department Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) is encouraged and will continue to be accepted through Friday, March 23.
All comments from the five recent public meetings and all additional sources will be gathered and considered prior to Mayor John Hamilton making an announcement about the potential purchase by the end of March.
Those interested in learning more about the vehicle or making online public comment are encouraged to go to bloomington.in.gov/CIRT-Public-Record by 5:00 p.m. March 23 or by calling the Office of the Mayor at 812-349-3406.
