(UNDATED) - The following is a list of Easter Events for the area:
- Bertha's Mission Community Easter Celebration & Dinner is Saturday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bedford. Besides a hearty, healthy meal, the event features a live drama, a resplendent repertoire of music, fun games, and an egg hunt for children. Those signing in at the door can register for door prizes. those who are elderly or disabled can have a meal delivered to their home.
- Easter egg hunt at Medora Wesleyan Church, 191 N. David St., in Medora 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24th. Hot dogs, drinks and cookies will be served. The event will be conducted rain or shine. Information: Pam Breeden at 812-966-2664
- The Cordry-Sweetwater Volunteer Fire Department will have an Easter egg hunt in the park behind the station at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24. The station is at 101 Firehouse Road, between the lakes.
- At 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25th an Easter egg hunt will be held at Bard Street Park in Crothersville. Age groups are 3 and under, 4 to 6 and 7 to 10, and there also will be a group for those with special needs. The Easter bunny will be there for pictures, so people may bring their cameras. Hosted by the Crothersville Parks Board.
- An inaugural community Easter egg hunt for children up to age 10 will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at the green building on the Brown County 4-H fairgrounds. Drinks and refreshments will be served at the building. In case of rain, the hunt will be moved inside. The free event is sponsored by Wagers Family Eye Care. - An Easter egg hunt will take place at Karst Farm Park, shelter 5, on Saturday, March 31st from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The hunt will begin at 11 a.m. and there will be refreshments and various activities for children and their families. The event is hosted by Sherwood Oaks Christian Church Bloomington West (5227 W Airport Rd Bloomington, IN 47403)
- Children ages 2 to 10 can participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Deer Run Park. The free event starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31 and will include an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
- The Bedford Parks Department will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt March 31 at Murray Forest Park. The Easter Bunny pledged to be on site for photo ops, and hunters will be divided into four categories: ages 3 and under; 4-6; 7-9, and 10 and above. The hunt begins at noon and approximately 2,000 eggs will be available for each age group.
- 10 a.m. March 31 an Easter egg hunt at Gaiser Park along South Walnut Street in Seymour. Open to ages 0 to 12. There will be more than 4,000 eggs with candy or coupons from local eateries inside. There also will be grand prize eggs for skateboards, children's bicycles, baskets, stuffed animals and more.
- Receive a Shields Park Pool pass with every 10 recycled eggs. Bring your own basket on Saturday, March 31. The Easter bunny arrives at 9:30 a.m. for free photo opportunities. Hosted by The Buzz 1390/99.3 WZZB and 92.7 Nash
- Easter Egg Hunt for Eggstra Special Children at the playground at Emerson Elementary School, 500 Emerson Drive, Seymour Icon WXKU and the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department at 10 a.m. March 31. Open to ages 3 to 11. The hunt will provide accommodations for children with physical and developmental disabilities and special diets. Participants with minimal mobility will have a table with eggs hidden in plastic containers full of Easter grass. Those with special diets will receive gluten-free snacks and toys or stickers. There will be two hunts at the same time -- one for children with disabilities and one for their siblings. There will be a maximum number of eggs for all children to allow everyone to have the same amount. Children may bring their own baskets, but containers will be provided. The area is fenced, and adult supervision will be provided. The hunt will be canceled in the event of rain. Hosted by White's Chapel United Methodist Church.
- An Easter egg hunt at First Baptist Church, 505 Community Drive, Seymour at 10 a.m. March 31. Open to age 2 to fifth grade. There will be a special Easter message about Jesus, and thousands of eggs filled with candy will be hidden on the church lawn. There will be a special area for young children. Also planned are grand prize drawings for a hoverboard and a tablet, other prizes, refreshments, photos with the Easter bunny and bouncy houses. Bring your own basket.
- An Easter egg hunt at Hickory Hills Golf Club, 1509 S. State Road 135, Brownstown at 11 a.m. March 31. Hosted by Hickory Hills Golf Club and the Jackson County Sheriff's

Easter Egg hunt at Brown County State Park/Abe Martin Lodge, March 31 at 11 a.m., kids 3 years old and younger; noon, kids ages 4 to 6 years old; 1 p.m. kids ages 7 to 10 years old.
- A Spring Blast and Egg Hunt at Sandy Creek Family Life Center, 5707 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour from Noon to 2 p.m. March 31 Children will be divided into age groups to hunt for prize eggs. Bring your own basket or a paper sack will be provided. Other activities include a bouncy house, a basketball shoot, door prizes, carnival games, a jump rope contest and free hot dogs, chips and drinks. Hosted by The Tabernacle and Kidz R.O.C.K. Ministry Team.
- Community Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day at Rose Acre Farms office, 6874 N. Base Road, Seymour. Games, petting zoo, inflatables, refreshments and community information booths open and barbecue and hotdogs available for purchase starting at noon; magic show and balloon twisting at 1 p.m.; egg decorating contest and baking contest judging at 2:30 p.m.; essay awards at 3 p.m.; balloon launch at 3:30 p.m.; and silent auction, games and inflatables close at 4 p.m. Easter egg hunts are at 2 p.m. for ages 3 and younger and 4 p.m. for 4 to 7 age group and 8 to 13 age group. Bring at least two nonperishable food items to be entered into a drawing for gift cards and help reach the goal of 500 pounds of food donated to Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry. - An Easter egg hunt at Freetown Church of Christ, 7077 N. State Road 135, Freetown at 1 p.m. March 31. A free lunch will be provided starting at 12:30 p.m., and the egg hunt will begin at 1 p.m. The Easter bunny will be there for photos with children, and there will be carnival games and prizes. - Easter egg hunt at Central Christian Church, 1434 W. Second St., Seymour from 1 p.m. March 31. Open to toddlers through fifth-graders. There will be egg hunts for different age groups on the church lawn (or in the fellowship hall in case of inclement weather), a puppet skit in the church sanctuary and refreshments. - From 2 to 4 p.m. March 31 an Easter egg hunt at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown. Open to ages 12 and under. The courthouse lawn will be split into four quadrants with different age groups at each. Registration for the free event will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at nearby Heritage Park, 121 E. - An Easter egg hunt at Brownstown Speedway, 476 E. County Road 100S, Brownstown at 4:30 p.m. March 31. A hunt for ages 0 to 5 will be at 4:30 p.m. with a hunt for ages 6 to 12 to follow. There will be a scavenger hunt with clues to find the golden egg with a special prize.
