Several People Arrested after Orleans Police Serve Arrest Warrant

(ORLEANS) - Several people were arrested after police went to a home in the 270 block of East Adam Street last Wednesday to serve an arrest warrant.

Police arrested 48-year-old Jackie Devron Harris after they entered the home at 1 a.m.

Orleans Town Marshal Richard Dixon says upon entry police found six people and drugs in plain view.

Also inside the home were 47-year-old Kerrie Barlow of Bloomington; 41-year-old Rachel Goldsberry and 34-year-old Melissa Andis, both of Mitchell and 38-year-old Jeremy Gulley of Heltonville.

Officers then procured a search warrant to search the the home. While waiting on that warrant a white vehicle pulled up in front of the house and stopped, after seeing police officers the driver attempted to drive away, but was ordered to stop. Police found more drugs inside the vehicle and arrested 27-year-old Alicia Goller of Nebo, Kentucky and 36-year-old Christopher Clark and 21-year-old Alexis Stalker, both of Orleans. These individuals were transported to the Orange County jail without incident.

After searching the home police found about 20 grams of meth and syringes.

Jackie Harris is facing charges of dealing meth and possession of meth more than 10 grams, maintaining a common nuisance and visiting a common nuisance.

Marshal Dixon says more charges are possible as the investigation is ongoing.
